Mednafen
My Emulator Doesn't Need A Frickin' Excellent Name is an open-source, multi-system emulator, driven from the command-line, OpenGL and SDL. Its Sony PlayStation, Sega Saturn, Nintendo Virtual Boy, and NEC PC Engine (TurboGrafx-16) original cores are recognized for their high quality, compatibility and accuracy.

Linux: Please follow their instructions on provided homepage to build from source.
Note: Accuracy is considered to be almost perfect. Also, 3D is enabled by default, but you can turn it off. To play it on platforms not supported by Mednafen use the libretro port which also supports SBS 3D by using glsl shaders, check this Reddit for instructions.
VBjin
VBjin is a Virtual Boy Emulator for Windows platforms, which comes from the merging of the PCEjin emulator with the mednafen-9 Virtual Boy core. VBjin supports re-recording and TAS tools. The development has stopped, but the accuracy is considered to be perfect.
