DOSBox is a DOS-emulator that uses SDL-library to run old DOS-based applications and games on modern computers by emulating an IBM PC, as well as the necessary hardware around it. It also allows you to make use of virtual hard drives, mount ISOs to virtual CD-ROM drives, cast and capture your emulated display, and many other quality of life features. It all currently has all SVN changes and some more features.

Most Recent Changes!

  • Fixed that a very long line inside a bat file would overflow the parsing buffer

  • Added a basic permission system so that a program running inside DOSBox can't access the contents of /proc (e.g. /proc/self/mem) when / or /proc were (to be) mounted

  • Several other fixes for out of bounds access and buffer overflows

  • Some fixes to the OpenGL rendering

  • It's recommended to use config -securemode when dealing with untrusted files
