Yaba Sanshiro is a Sega Saturn emulator formally as UoYabause which that one was a fork made for ARM Android, but then the author started working on the windows version. Uo stood for "Un Official" and Yabause stood for "Yet Another Broken And Unstable Saturn Emulator".

SSF is a closed-source emulator known for its high compatibility and considered to be superior to Yabause and Mednafen. It's able to run most Saturn games without issues, but requires mounting ISO files in a virtual drive. To raise compatibility, you can try with "No Bios" enabled or disabled, and you'll want to start with the MaxCompatibility (slow) option, then try with the faster options (which doesn't always work).

SSF requires either an external virtual drive or a specific loader to read disc images. Close and restart the emulator (as it says in the Japanese dialogue popup appearing) whenever you modify the options for them to take effect. There also exist a Drag & Drop Loader made by a third-party which can be found here.

Even though it has a "No Bios" option, you'll sometimes need the BIOS files, of course specifying the correct region in the options.The emulator has a certain amount of input lag, though suggested solutions are to disable V-sync (emulator settings, causes tearing) and enable "VDP2 RAM write timing".

Ymir is a work-in-progress Sega Saturn emulator for Windows, Linux, and macOS, designed to be user-friendly and highly compatible. It supports multiple game file formats (CHD, BIN+CUE, ISO, etc.) and features automatic region switching, customizable controls, and save states. Recent updates have significantly improved its performance and compatibility, allowing it to run a large percentage of the Sega Saturn library with many games being near-flawless

Kronos is a Sega Saturn emulator forked from uoYabause 0.5.2 for Linux and Windows. While this fork is accuracy-oriented and targets modern opengl, it tries to reconcile branches of Yabause and Yaba Sanshiro (formerly uoYabause) while implementing much needed fixes. Its compatibility and functionality arguably make it considered to be the best version of Yabause.

Nova is a closed-source Sega Saturn Emulator for Windows and is capable of running some commercial games, albeit with several bugs. That said, is does support Sega Titan Video (ST-V) arcade hardware
