Remember GoldenEye 007 for N64? Of course you do! One of the very best games to grace the N64, GoldenEye has gained a cult status among retro gamers. First released in August 1997, this first person shooter had surprising depth and was a phenomenal multiplayer game. It sold around 2.1 million copies, surpassing even the likes of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
Now this late 90s masterpiece is being brought up to date via an unofficial reboot to celebrate the GoldenEye’s 25th Anniversary. The ambitious GoldenEye25 team are attempting to recreate the game in Unreal Engine – and by the looks of the early footage and images which have been shared, they’re doing a stand-up job!
